LCA! What's going on? Yeah it was tough. I don't ever like to blame the refs on a game because I think that you shouldn't be in a position to allow the game to come down to a bad call.. Because a ref has a more difficult job than people realize. If they are being technical, they could probably call a penalty on every other play..
But the miss call yesterday was horrible. You don't not make a call that obvious. In fact, Robey-Coleman picks up Lewis the second he noticed Brees was going to him and I think he meant to make the play he did (which was a PI) because he was thinking that he would rather get the PI call than give up a TD, which was likely of Lewis caught the ball. Robey-Coleman admitted he thought it was a PI, which pretty much tells me it was his intent in order to keep Lewis out of the endzone.. And IMO, that just shows how obvious of a call it should have been.
