I don't blame the retail workers for not physically confronting the thieves.

The corporate policy is stupid though. They should call the cops and turn over the recordings. If it becomes a major issue hire security that will engage them.

I don't shop a Lululemon but we all end up paying for retail theft.

They did what an employee should and not physically interfere

Time for Service Merchandise to rise again from the retail graveyard.

You fill out your card or shop with your phone. Your merchandise is at the end of the conveyor. If it is not in stock we will call you when it comes in or send you an email to let you know it arrived.

Do you think that the corporate policy could have more to do with liability if an employee is killed during a robbery attempt of that nature?

Losing several hundred hours of apparel is one thing, but a seven figure payout if it employee dies is a lot more significant.

Ive never seen a policy that you cant film or call cops.

They don't let you follow them outside the store, or physically confront.

So, there has to be a way to monetize this modern trend for an enterprising white guy. Maybe I’ll start going by a street name and get a gang of young jeezies to steal the goods from stores. Figure out a way to sell the merchandise on the black market. Think I’ll use the name Kingpin.

If employee safety is paramount and that’s the third time they’ve been looted recently, why don’t they hire security?

Watching my New England Firearms 410 come down that conveyor belt at about 8-9 years old was one of the most exciting things I can remember at that age

Retail employees (the ones who actually work for a living and who aren't in cahoots with the thieves) are getting sick and fricking tired of these companies doing nothing about thievery. Thievery means less money available for pay and benefits.

Retail employees should unionize, and the first requirement should be a request to shut down thievery and prosecute.

Need to go to a model of different prices for online and retail. Retail ups their pricing for loss.

Actually, you can sue for wrongful termination.

You can sue for wrongful termination if you were fired wrongfully. If you are fired for violating company policy - even if that policy is woefully stupid - then there's no wrongful termination.

The fired employees posted video evidence of their violation. Nothing wrongful about it in the eyes of the law.

This woman pulled the race and woman card and won in liberal NY. The fired Lulu employees were openly violating dumb company policy on camera. This is not a good comparison.

BINGO. Hope they sue. Lululemon now on the list. I don't wear their shite but my grandkids do. Won't be getting any from me.
