Has anyone circled back to ask or investigate how he may have known the hotel the guy was staying in and the approximate time he'd be leaving it?
It supposedly wasn't the hotel where the shareholders meeting was being held. The CEO also left the hotel quite early before the meeting, if I remember correctly

Personally I would have driven and tried to get my way to Mexico and catch a flight from there.
I wouldn’t be shocked if the plan was to get to known territory in PA and somehow hop in a car and go and that didn’t end up the reality once things started spiraling further

Gotcha. I thought they had reported it was in front of a different hotel.

I feel like I'm watching the movie "school ties" watching his valedictorian speech

CEO was staying in a different hotel, but was murdered outside the midtown Hilton where the investor conference was happening

I knew there was a different hotel in there somewhere.

It’s always weird to me when criminals make absolutely no attempt to disguise themselves when on the run.
Especially in a post-covid world where no one would blink an eye if you kept a mask on at all times. All he had to do was trim his brows, put a hat on, throw on a pair of sunglasses, and maybe get a different style mask. And no one would have ever recognized him.

Buy an $8 set of hair clippers at the dollar store. Get colored contacts. Glasses. Don’t go to starbucks before wacking someone.
Like others have said he probably wanted to elude everyone for a short time to build up the hype, then get caught and become a martyr.

ETA he probably strolled into a ton of different places hoping to be recognized but the modern human race is so self-obsessed and buried in their phones they wouldn’t have noticed

That’s dumb. Book a flight ahead of time, for an hour or two after the murder, and head to Europe.
