Phrasing this issue as even remotely close to being, "drinking alcohol vs risking someone's life" makes it all too clear that you know nothing at all about how the Greek system works.

Learning all about the inner workings of the LSU greek system is not something I'm too worried about at this point in my life.

You're right - it isn't that hard. Figure out what is most important and accept whatever the university tells you to do, rather than complain and make yourself look worse.

You might have one or two that could stand alone. One or two chapters does not make for a healthy Greek System. WRT LSU specifically, where would you locate a house off campus? Off Stanford and the lakes is too expensive and the residents have plenty of clout to zone you right the frick out of there. That leaves the hood or out in BFE somewhere, and I dont know if you could even afford that.

Ah, yes. All students should give up on everything all the time. You're right.

Students have valuable input that will be heard by the administration... but only if it is said.

LSU already has plans. There was a future campus map floating around a while back that didn't include fraternity and sorority houses.

Frats are one thing but if they move on chi o, tri delta or Kappa may god have mercy on their souls.

Not sure I would join a fraternity under these new rules. Where is the fun? Where is the brotherhood that comes from going through challenging times as a pledge class. This sucks.

Was not aware that all 2,500 or so affiliated with a Greek organization were involved.

The entire Greek system is responsible.

You should stop posting about this as you have nary a clue about Greek life. A typical drive-by retort with no effort.
