That’s reaching so hard for a story to turn into something that has absolutely zero substance to it.
Oh no!!!!! Someone was called a name!!!! Ohhhh the horror.
None of that is worth even a punishment

Every journalist in every venue is now following the lead of Mueller and the rest of the PC crowd in our country.
Go after anything that will raise ratings and maybe get lucky to get on the journalist big stage.
Do all journalist now desire to work for MSNBC and CNN?

I don’t know this guy or anything about him other than this story. But it is pretty obvious to me that the emails aren’t the problem. The emails are a symptom of he problem. This man obviously has no respect for either people or established processes and rules. Certainly not characteristics you look for in the VP of a university department.

He might be the only HR person I’ve come across that doesn’t sound completely intolerable...it’s a shame he’s losing his job for that exact reason.

I am getting the opposite from his emails. The guy sounds like a complete dick and (I hate to use this word but) bully. I hate that he is going to pull down a big pension when it sounds like he should have been fanned years ago. Of course, who the hell can fire the head of HR?

That’s it? Holy PC hell, LSU is turning into SJW-U with this shite.

Well, Monaco didn't exactly improve the situation by insisting to address Alexander as Chancellor F'King constantly referring to Alleva as AD fricknuts.

people forced into retirement for saying frick?
and i love how they censored only the "K"

I have met the guy on multiple occasions.
He's brash, profane and borderline unprofessional. My thoughts are he probably went a little too far.
I heard a rumor that he was being quizzed on LSU's health insurance by the Board of Supervisors regarding the plan not covering medical marijuana. Concerns were raised by the board about how LSU can sponsor medical marijuana but not cover it in their plans.
Rumor has it his response to the BoS was, "Look if you guys wanna get high just tell me because I know a guy"

In one email, in March of 2016, he referred to the media as the “fuc*ing press”.

yeah looks like he hurt a few feels by calling them the fricking press.

We all have that one guy/gal in the office who pushes the line and sometimes crosses it in terms of professionalism. AG Monaco was that guy at LSU.
Trust me, the dude was acting like he was untouchable and he got what he deserved

He really comes across as a 20-something douche who tries way too hard and is way too brash because he is totally insecure. Trying to be “cool” so he will be accepted.

A former manager got slapped by HR because she had a show dog and she was describing her dog as a bitch.

That's what happens when you build a career out of treating humans as a resource.

That's quite an understatement. Dude is as unprofessional as can be. Does whatever he wants in personnel matters regardless of policies and procedures.
