What you just pressed the caps lock key to express is either an intentionally hyperbolic characterization of more than half of the US population or you actually believe this is true which, really, probably means you need to take a break from whatever you're reading, watching, or listening to, bud.
As to what LSU is doing, they warned them. No required vaccination if you just take 5 minutes to fill out a form. In fact, they're probably tossing out several vaccinated people who failed to file proof of vaccination. It's less to do with the shot and more to do with them missing a deadline. Would similar actions not be taken if financial aid paperwork were filed late? Missing class registration? Miss campus housing deadlines?

I remember when I had to take a tuberculosis test to go to college. If only I knew my rights were being violated and I lost my freedom the day a took that test.
Man people in this thread sound like a bunch of pussies. "my kid will never go there now". Good. It's a vaccine. I took the 2nd one in early April and I haven't had any problem.
God forbid people do things to try to slow down the spread of Covid. I know, I know.. I am stupid and the liberals are trying to take over (despite the fact Donald Trump told people at one of his recent rallies that people need to take the vaccine.. And he was literally one of the first people to take it).
Is this the sword yall want to die on? Your kids take 5 vaccines the first year of their life. There are a lot of employers requiring their employees to get vaccinated, but why does this enrage some of you? I swear some of you look for shite to be mad about.

This is a very misleading thread title. They aren’t disenrolling students simply for being unvaccinated. They are disenrolling: 1) vaccinated students who did not submit proof of vaccination and 2) unvaccinated students who didn’t take 30 seconds to opt out.

Who knows who they are kicking out. My kid was getting emails until last week informing him that LSU couldn’t release his aid & scholarship offers until he enrolled in a class. He never accepted them in first place or their acceptance. Pretty sure back in April/May he even had to go in and decline in one or two areas. Contact had stopped not long afterwards but just restarted out of the blue soon after classes started at LSU.
