This is true. Most real liberals reluctantly vote Republican.

I don’t know any that are. UL Lafayette and others are requiring vaccine, a doctor’s note, or a “personal exemption” form to register for spring.

The silver lining to my son 'taking a break' from higher education is that I can redirect him to a different university. I hate to see my alma mater turn to crap, but Trump was right...

Aren’t all the The University of Louisiana System schools requiring this as well?

Yea. Probably a lot of affirmative action students. Time to give that money or allocate that budget to students who actually deserve it…

Honestly this is no different than when meningitis vaccines became mandatory. Were y’all outraged then? No.

Beermoney the IHL in Mississippi said NO to any vaccine mandates there ... not sure what all colleges are under IHL. I know OM and State are.

Is being too lazy to fill out an opt-out form an opinion?

Demonize, marginalize, alienate, eliminate.

I am not surprised that you seem to support this type of behavior.

Wonder how many were unenrolled.

Schmelly hopefully completed his paperwork.

Also, out of curiosity, I wonder if home rapid tests count as "weekly testing".

It is required.

There was also an opt out option for COVID. No sympathy for the kids that didn’t do it.

This says they gave students a month (September 10th deadline), but the Pfizer vaccine has not been FDA approved for a month yet. Wasn’t it approved on August 23rd?

quote:

Once the Pfizer COVID vaccine was fully approved, the university informed students that they were moving forward with their COVID vaccine plans. This gave students a month to start their vaccine process, or file their paperwork to opt-out.
