LSU screwing students

It's so nice to know that LSU is looking out for students and debt. SOB's waited until all fees ( room and board) were paid before they told them that most/all of their classes would be online. It's not like parents or students could use the money during this Covid year. I hope all the Administrators catch uncurable STDs.

I've been predicting this for months.
Alabama's tuition is due today.
Expect an "online only" announcement soon

You think there’s been some grand conspiracy to keep your $200?
They’re making decisions as quick as anyone else can right now.

All the universities are doing this.
People predicted it months ago when they announced they were doing in-person classes. And it has come true.

You're expecting the government to make cutbacks?
That's never gonna happen.

You just wake up after a 2 month nap?
LSU has been broadcasting the "return to campus" plans since late May. The President has gone on numerous zoom sessions mapping out what campus will look like in the Fall
They have been very forthcoming

I have no idea what the OP is referring to, but as of a couple years ago, LSU fees were $3-5k per semester.

Room and board is only 200 dollars now?
If classes are more than 50 percent remote, on campus students should be able to "opt out" of living on campus and get a refund.

Sounds like a class action lawsuit is in order.

But how will LSU pay for diversity counselors and title IX coordinators if you keep your money?

Nice of you to join us, Mr. Van Winkle. Things in the world changed a bit during your slumber.

Tuition, room and board is @$14000 a semester

The University stil has to maintain its facilities and pay their employees. You can't give substantial discounts to students without destroying the support mechanism that keeps the campus running. Thank Bobby Jindal for this, he took nearly all of LSU's public funds forcing them to rely on tuition dollars to keeps the lights on...
What LSU SHOULD do is pay for the fees associated with online test proctoring.
Currently students are on the hook for $30/test for online proctoring. And believe me, the service sucks major arse with alot of kids losing $$$ in "missed/rejected/rescheduled" proctoring appointments.
