The article says the wife was experiencing some medical issue Saturday night.

Yeah. A gunshot wound.
"Victoria Burton-Claycomb was experiencing some health problems Saturday night and had called some friends to take her to a hospital, said Chief Deputy Shane Tucker of the Pearl River County Sheriff's Department. One of them called 911 at 8:24 p.m.
"Our deputies went in and saw Victoria on the floor in the kitchen," Tucker said. "It appeared she had been shot in the head. They went to the bedroom and located William. He was awake but was unable to move."
WTF? That doesn't make sense. Was he already shot at the same time? Did she know she was shot and was somehow able to call friends and yet not mention that she was shot (maybe to protect her husband)? I don't understand.
So where was the gun found? This surely is one odd case.

Yeah, but why was she in the kitchen?
Isn't that where she should have been based on the posts the alpha males make here? Makes perfect sense.

+1. Good for them. RIP.
Good for them? If that's the case, there were plenty of other ways to go about it.

Sounds like an old sick couple that wanted to leave this world together on their own terms
Where did it say the wife had some sort of chronic illness? It says she called friends because of a medical problem and was found shot. Nothing about her experiencing some long term illness.
Sounds like he was terminal and like an a-hole killed her as well.

It's not an odd case, it's a poorly written story by a subpar "journalist."

We don't know what her terms were but we damn sure know his.
Maybe he made a decision for her that he had no right to make.

I agree 100%. There are few real journalists anymore who go after the facts and present articles with a comprehensive summary of facts. Nowadays they simply spin an article of article that was likely spun from another article written by a blogger with subpar writing skills.
This is why I spend hours doing research on my own in cases like this and many others.

Somebody should've told him about our stellar 2016 class of football recruits. Might've given him something to live for.

Damn. I remember him. Always liked him because he stressed nutrition as a part of medical education.
