I'm trying real hard to give her the benefit of the doubt but you're probably right. Either way, the grown-ups in the real media should have seen this non story for what it was.

Well her mom told the Advocate that she has called the FBI in on the matter.
A few years ago I would have said they will figure out the lie shortly but these days the FBI/DOJ is so political that they will let this go.

I agree. However, there are no more "adults" at The Advocate. That rag has bent over backwards to promote every single left leaning cause since they came under new management. But, like I said before, she has no repercussions for throwing such things out there because she knows as well as you and I that no one wants to call out fabricators of racial fiction because their "cause is a just one" no matter how vile the delivery.
