It’s the schools fault for putting this class on the registration only for it actually not to be offered.

They offer multiple sections of classes all the time only to later drop some of them when no one registers or not enough register. You're seriously about to graduate and never heard of that before?

Did it show up on your schedule of registered classes? I don't remember exactly how it worked, but I know I could go online and see exactly what classes I was enrolled in at any time. If they still showed that on your schedule then I would be extremely pissed.

Yep. On my personal schedule it’s still on there the dates, the time and even the class room number

He just said he was still enrolled in the class online and it says hes in it. Sounds like LSU dropped the ball again.

They didn't remove the class from his schedule. So they dropped it, didn't eliminate the class or section from his schedule, didn't inform the student the class wasn't going to be offered. Sounds like LSUs frick up.

I never said that part wasn't. But it's not some unheard of thing for a section to not be offered after weak enrollment.

Bold strategy

Every semester I took classes that I needed. If I didnt need them then I wouldn't have been taking them.

Hey man. You gonna get an F in the class anyways. Expect nothing less.

And that's what happens at large universities. Classes are too big, support systems lacking, and students are caught in the middle.

They take on more students than they can effectively provide top tier service to.

Funny part is I wouldn’t be surprised if the student is somehow given a F if the class isn’t taken off his schedule.

Guidance counselors at all colleges are some of the dumbest people on campus. You'd do better letting the landscaping crew schedule your classes.

Talk to your dean. He should be able to set up an independent study course for you.

This is definitely true. I asked my counselor 5 times if there was a way for me to graduate early. Told him I was willing to take a tough course load to get out of there earlier. All 5 times he said no. Found out the next semester if I would have signed up for summer course that I could of graduated a whole semester earlier.
