Jay Ducote? Really? I thought the Advocate was playing a prank when I saw his picture this morning. WTF? This is the guy that roams around tailgate parties on gameday looking for people to recognize him for free food and beer. Man this school has stooped low. so sad

I do agree that LSU has had more noteworthy speakers...generally for spring and fall commencements, as they are a lot larger ceremonies.
however, since this guy apparently makes his living dealing with food, I don't really see it as a knock on him that he roams around sampling different dishes at people's tailgates.

Silky Slim was actually mentoring young youth in the community, specifically within the 70805 zip code, regarding building relationships with police and the community, so he was unavailable.
