How do you stop a bunch of 20 year old from going on campus and tailgating? Seems ridiculous. If these kids cant find a way around this they may need to rethink college.

I wasn't going to bring that up. The guy, I won't use his name now that he is being dumb, posting above will argue that the situation was different because it didn't involve forced drinking. I don't want to turn this into a rugby team thread. I only brought up that I have participated in plenty of antics with them and that is not a good example of responsible behavior.
Likewise, the Gruver situation doesn't represent every fraternity. Those guys were idiots for what they did. They got banned from campus and some are being CRIMINALLY prosecuted. That doesn't justify punishing every fraternity.

That was an accident at a BR Rugby party.

I've setup, or been involved in a tailgate, that has been on the Parade Ground, or adjacent since 2005.
The trash on the Parade Ground was from the fraternity tailgates.

Or maybe LSU is tired of seeing drunken frat brawls on Old Row and Worldstar every weekend. Parents see that shite and start having concerns about sending their kids to LSU. Also, it’s a big liability in today’s quick to sue environment

I bet LSU only seriously pursued one company so that they could say they did their part and something else shady happened to get them to drop after a few weeks before any big home games. Wouldn't put that past LSU in the slightest. They are killing themselves. God dammit we aren't Harvard.

This has been in the works since the WVU game several years ago. That was the beginning of the end.

The past few years have certainly debunked the myth that fraternities at LSU are some powerful network. If they were as powerful as they think they are, this shite wouldn't be happening to them.

Probably because the University is now requiring each fraternity to get security for more than 12 hours each gameday, if you include the security that is also required for fraternity parties after games. Factor in how impossible it is to get on and off campus during gameday and it is no wonder they can't find enough people willing to work.
