I understand reasonable efforts to diversity the LSU campus, but the Office of Diversity at LSU promotes discrimination in its actions under the guise of being in favor of "diversity."

Diversity really just means less white people to them.

FYI, there are similar offices for: Veterans, Internationals, Women, LGBTQ, and Disability ServicesBTQ, and Disability Services

I’m more than willing to adapt and follow the wishes of society. I think all people should be treated properly until proven unworthy.
However, today’s acronyms are confusing.
If a member of the LGBTQ community is a member of the NAACP is it improper to refer to them as a queer colored person?

Serious question:

Are you one of those crazy racist white chicks who secretly like to get railed by BBC while yelling, “frick me harder, N(word)er”

Times have changed for LSU. They need higher enrollment numbers to fund their operations. The enrollment numbers of in-state white students are basically topped off, growth could only come from increasing out of state students, and in-state minority students.

Question:

Does LSU admit every student that applies and meets the minimum requirements?

a number of years ago I received an alumni donation request about the same time the ergr newsletter came with a featured article about hiring a diversity director in engr. to further diversity. with a bit of digging I found that 95% of engr master and doctor candidates were foreign, female or minority. boiled down to white guys graduating with a bs had to go to work to pay the bills. foreign students were funded by their govt. and female / minorities got the scholarship support. questioning why the engr dept needed a new diversity director, I have since avoided alumni donations

The word diversity should come with a trigger warning.

No matter the context or applicable rules, some people will need Xanax or Natural Light to handle hearing or seeing it.

Jesus Christ, can you toe the party line any harder?

Enrollment is down compared to 5 years ago, and almost all of the increases in other ethnic groups is almost 1:1 matched with a absolute number (not percentage) decrease of white students.

So the quoted text is definitely wrong, with your first line of the post definitely coming across as questionable.

I'm giving up on LSU.

It makes more sense to go to Alabama or Georgia where the scholarships are good.

I think they should all be important. But unfortunately diversity is something that is almost always misconstrued and misused.

Unlike you, heroic liberal who gets a boner upon hearing that sacred word.

The office of diversity essentially ensures there are organized activities and interests for students of color. It also assists LSU in recruiting/marketing efforts within minority regions/schools.

these efforts have paid off as they were one component of a multifaceted effort that lead to the largest and highest performing freshman class in LSU history

I can't speak for LSU's office because I didn't go there. But that is the basic purpose of diversity offices. Helping to ensure minority students find support services and ultimately graduate college. That is a good thing that I am on board with.

Unfortunately, most people who say they fight for diversity aren't really diverse at all. It often times lead to the same old pro-gay tranny, anti straight people who likes the sex they were born as. And also white people are the cause of everything wrong in the world, amd they must apologize for the skin they were born in in order to not be racist.

I will never donate a damn thing to LSU until they get rid of this racist joke of a department.

And no, I don't consider my Tradition Fee to be a donation. It's just the another price you pay for tickets.
