Everyone’s favorite University President will be with us until at least 2023.

quote:

LSU President F. King Alexander will be running the state's flagship university until 2023 after system’s governing body extended the leader’s contract Thursday.

The LSU Board of Supervisors reviewed Alexander’s work performance behind closed doors, then approved renewing his contract. "He has led us through another fantastic record-setting year in the face of tremendous adversity," said LSU Board of Supervisors Chairman James Williams said. “Overall, the evaluation was positive to say the least.”

The Board bumped Alexander’s $610,666 salary by 3 percent, which was the same increase LSU faculty received this year. He is one of the highest paid university leaders in the country.

Alexander's contract now runs to July 1, 2023.

Just woke up from a nightmare where I dreamt that LSU extended F King Alexander’s contract until at least 2023.

Never forget: every university in the US has been infiltrated by SJWs and administrative-centric bureaucrats. It’s wirse than the government. There is no such thing as conservative schools (except for maybe 3)

Why would a liberal cuck need such a high salary in BR with so many people right outside his mansion living in poverty. He must feel so guilty.

Good to know I can continue my tradition of not donating anything or spending a dime on LSU.

That’s an outrageous amount of money for a state university that tax payers and students pay for.

LSU President F. King Alexander's 'positive' evaluation leads to $610K pay raise, extended contract

Someone needs to tell the Advocate their copy editor sucks. The headline as I read it means he got a 610k raise from his current pay. Which is not true, he got a 3 percent raise bringing his pay to 610k.

That is still a shocking figure a government worker and I wonder if there are other overiding benefits such as car and housing allowances which would push that figure higher. Also, does he live on campus rent free, like some other university presidents.
