When you think about it, it is essentially college kids running the bars.

meh, college is, or at least it was, a time for some wild and craziness, it's amazing the successful futures that a lot of the ooc, over the top wild men in college have

I taught both of my sons how to drink beer, kick arse, and chase women. BUT, only after you have taken care of your responsibilities for the day. My youngest son is a sophomore at LSU and goes to Reggie's often.

I am glad that I did not have any daughters.

The larger question here is why any self-respecting parent would put their daughter in that environment.

THIS!! I have a daughter and now way in hell would I let her work at Reggie's.

Yeah I'm not sure anything that they are showing in that article is abnormal for a college bar.

The story goes on to mention someone getting shot in the parking lot (story fails to mention the thug infested ghetto that is Tigerland). A football player being stabbed. Someone waiving a gun around. Couple of parking lot rapes. My college days are over, but I hope this sort of thing is still "abnormal for a college bar."

We'd go to Sports Illustrated (hilarious how they got away with that for years) to sit in the corner and people watch. Monday night quarter shot night was particularly entertaining.

Sorry I guess I should have been more specific. I was referring to the recent pictures and videos that they are showing from inside the bar, not the older stories. It's known that Reggie's is the trashiest of Tigerland bars.

LSU bears responsibility for this with their misguided policy of banning kegs at the fraternities and sororities.

Pretty sure there are at least a few "high end" bars in BR where the crowd doesn't even come close to college age where you can see that same thing happen on any given Fri/Sat night.

In the 70's and 70's this was high school stuff, not even college. Everyone could drink at 18.

Raising the drinking age to 21 only encouraged binge black out drinking. The Karens of the world never thought about that.

Nail on the fricking head. They need to incentivize beer
