SIAP
Saw that LPSO has been towing those "Carolina squatted" trucks and SUVs during this past snow storm and as of recently around town. I personally think it's the most stupid and gay thing you can do to your vehicle, not to mention a safety hazard to others on the road. LP Rants and Rave and other posted comments are mostly positive for these detainments of vehicles, however, some of the kids who have trucks like these are calling defense for them saying that they're "just having fun" and "it's better than kids spending money on things like drugs and such"
Apparently, this "community" has been warned previously about their antics in parking lots, disrupting the public, and of course their illegal modifications. Although some have noted the police have other issues and responsibilities that they could for sure handle over these trucks, I guess it's a small price to pay to not see these trashy and gay arse trucks on the road around LP.

When my kids were growing up I would point to different vehicles and tell them I never want to see cars/trucks like that driving up my lane to see them.

Teenagers are fricking stupid. I was fricking stupid when I was a teenager. I remember anyone who had a piece of shite vehicle.. All they had to do was throw some rims on that bitch, put in some sound, tent the windows and it became cool as hell.
I remember a dude I went to high school with had an old Mitsubishi removed the TS and IS and it was MI UB HI and everyone thought that was so awesome. Of course you had low riders, but even then I thought they were dumb. It just didn't make sense to me. You lower your vehicle and then all of a sudden you can't hit a small pot hole without it hitting bottom. But yeah, whether you drop them are put a lift kit on them its not good for the vehicle.

"At least we're not doing drugs" is no
excuse to drive a vehicle that isn't safe.

So are they being towed because of reckless driving or because they are squatted?

One of the kids came on r&r and claimed he could see out the truck the same as stock. I don’t know who you’re fooling…

The sad part is it’s just not teenagers.

If its anyone older than their early 20s that's kind of sad.

most car insurance companies will not honor the claim if you have it and are in an accident. sucks for the people they hit

While I can understand an insurance not paying the insured at fault, has there been a case where insurance did not pay the injured party?

I want them to also go after the hub extension bull shite. Tires outside the fenders fling rocks, mud, and debris up and cause damage to the vehicles behind them. Course the owners don’t give a frick because it looks cool.
