Corrupt politicians that give deals to family and friends.

The Louisiana way.

The reason Louisiana will never be an Austin is the people don’t want it to be. The majority of the people of Louisiana do not want change

Poor and stupid. It’s a vicious cycle.

No one ever thought that.

Definitely not. There may have been a delegation or something that visited Austin on behalf of BR get ideas, but I can’t recall anything very serious.

That said, the “collapsing” language is they use for this video is funny. Looking back over the past 20-30 years of setback after setback…not to mention the impossible job of competing with Texas…I think the state has actually done a pretty good job of treading water. North LA may be a lost cause since they seem to be putting all their stock in data centers.

If you spent any of your time talking to everyday people while you worked or visited here, you would know.

Just keep in mind those people vote.

As many dumb takes you see on the OT, just imagine about half of the state being dumber than that.

Louisiana was on its way to being an economic/tech hub

Our educational system prevents that from ever happening. The political system being corrupt is just icing on the cake.

Meanwhile, the Corps will prevent the Mississippi from shifting during our lifetimes. Eventually it will though.

Always been the running joke, the only time any thing gets done in Louisiana is in an election year. It hasn't changed since many of us left the state many years ago.

No educational system in the history of mankind can overcome the demographics of Louisiana

You sure about this? ORCS has already come close to failing a few times and when it eventually does BR, NOLA, Houma etc are done not to mention the problems it would cause nation and worldwide. Every time I ride across it I’m thankful no terrorists have figured out what a soft target it would be and the damage they could cause.

Great. That does not make it the most important state
we are arguing about it right now arent we...... so yea it is arguably the more important.

So imagine, tomorrow, the nation suddenly had half the gas, half the jet fuel, half the petroleum products to manufacture plastics in basically every good you buy and use for survival... What happens...

Typical response from whitey. If wypipo hadn’t abandoned the public system, we would be much better off. But racism runs deep here.

Well he is from Oregon

But I love geography and watch a lot of his videos. Regardless of what you think about this one, he is a good content creator.
