business was just fine.

"I still don't see how we closed our economy. MY business never shut down"

And she tweets:

“We have been negatively impacted for years because the masses shop online and big box businesses. Almost to extinction. The only small businesses I know who have suffered the most are restaurants and bars. We do our part and shop local. To have no mitigation is irresponsible.”

To be fair she's the dumbest member of the Louisiana House of Reps, so it's kind of expected she would say something dumb.

Well, since she wasn’t affected, Scruffy fully supports all shutdowns.

Businesses aren’t closing, people!

Nothing to see here!

Just a friendly reminder these people get a nice salary and pension on your dime. I’m raising my children to go into politics. What a life.

It's more than restaurants and bars that are suffering too. Pretty much any business that depends on travel or tourism dollars, retail, energy companies, movie theaters, concert venues etc. But hey, at least she wasn't impacted. Shop local.

Bogalusa and Washington Parrish are both majority white.

Y'all elect quite a bit of Dems in Louisiana.

We were impacted but we have managed to stay viable. This isn’t about me but knowledge shared from an actual small business woman with lots of friends that are in business. We all had to adjust with safe practices to keep business going since the beginning
