So sports gambling is now legal in Tennessee and Virginia, along with countless other states. Why can we have casinos and gambling on horse racing, but no sports gambling in La,? Makes absolutely no sense.

Because the politicians didn’t get enough kickbacks.

It's totally ok to gamble on card games and slot machines, but LSU -6 against Clemson..
That's just irresponsible and reckless and an all out danger to society!

I think after this corona stuff and all of the budget shortfalls, we will see Louisiana sport gambling approved.

Not true, the type of bill to legalize can only occur in odd years.

Naw, man...sports gambling is nothing but trouble and pure evil. A short drive down I-10 to Biloxi, where us Mississippians welcome you with outstretched arms

Nope. Chairman of the committee that killed it (House Criminal Justice) is from the good ol’ Parish of Livingston, Sherman Mack.

Absolutely retarded that that sports betting and weed are still illegal in Louisiana. And that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to horrible state legislation. Pretty much all Louisiana politicians and a whole lot of national politicians deserve to hang because they have never done anything for the people and only line their own pockets. This may be highly controversial but I think the government could function and get a LOT more shite done if lobbying was illegal.

Corruption and the older voting block needs to die off. Louisiana does not want to get out of it's own way. Sports betting would be a few million. Legalization of marijuana would be a windfall

I honestly only want dfs to be legalized. The operators of sports books outside of Vegas are greedy and only uninformed goobers put down action with them.

Didn’t Henry pre-file a bill for this session to approve Sports gambling? He and Georges have a change of heart (wink, wink)?
