Serious question...is this due to inheritance?

My sister inherited quite a bit of land and property when her father passed. She is a high school graduate that worked at waffle house for awhile. But she owns a shite ton of land in Alabama? How much of this is generational pass down when daughters are the only heirs?

You can't get "That Check" if you are married.

Good lord I hope you’re all trolling! You know women are allowed to go to college and have careers these days, right? I owned my own home as a single woman about 5 years into my career.

Read this week in Advocate that Baton Rouge has highest number of delinquent mortgages in the country - could this be coincidence?

Aren’t women holding the most student loan debt too?

Yes, women have equal rights, but you wouldn’t know it if you saw say the woman’s march. Or turned on the news.

And you, posting as a woman is more pathetic, Walt.

Both true.

Single women own more homes than single men in US: study

This is the actual title of the article.

What this indicates to me is that many women are putting off getting married and having children in favor of their careers. And while that may be good for women individually, that’s generally bad for society
