Watched a fat black chick throw a dirty diaper out in the Walmart parking lot
Almost said something but I had my Trump hat on and didn’t want to lose my life or go viral over some black chick getting in my face. I probably would’ve been labeled a racist

I'm constantly seeing people with dump trailers full of improperly secured refuse driving 90 down the interstate throwing debris all over the road. Its even worse after a hurricane.

Montana was extremely clean as well

Demographics are part of it but not the only reason. Even the more desirable parts of the state (Cajun country, St. Tammany, LP, AP) are full of litter. Mississippi also has a higher percentage of you-know-who and Georgia is close but their state highways are noticeable cleaner than ours. The state simply doesn't care about picking up litter and it shows.

I disagree with that. There’s definitely a cultural difference. Colorado Springs & Austin, culturally speaking, don’t tolerate that shite. Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, etc… don’t give a shite. Trashy people who grow up thinking & being told they’re less than will inevitably act that way.

being from louisiana makes me appreciate colorado that much more. there are homeless pieces of shite here but its like night and day with the lack of visible trash.

Trash and debris piling up along Colorado highways and interstates is an issue as old as time, but is it getting worse? A Lakewood man insists it is and says it's time the Colorado Department of Transportation and drivers make some changes.
Keep telling yourself that

"Food wrappers, plastic bags, you'll see different foams, like polystyrene foams," McGuirk said. McGuirk says the amount trash along the sides of interstates and highways is unavoidable and appearing to get worse. He sees it every day commuting along U.S. 6, as well as other parts of the metro area.

I was riding in my Army roommate’s vehicle about 15 years ago and he had a bunch of loose change in the cup holder. All coins - quarters to pennies.
He grabbed it and threw it out the window instead of getting some coin wrappers from the bank and wrapping it up and depositing it. Probably $20 or so.
I need not describe said roommate. Your best guess is the right one.

You think people in Vermont, Montana, Wyoming, just tossing shite out their windows? The problem is likely two fold.

I've seen it with students. They will walk down the hall and literally just turn a hand over to dump trash. They don't get much different as adults.

Oh man another one.

Strewn garbage can be found in every city in America whether it is a cigarette butt, or a free flying grocery bag, and Colorado Springs and our home national park is no exception. Littering is an epidemic in the U.S. and if Coloradans want to preserve our beautiful, colorful state, strides must be taken to clean up our mess before the damage is irreparable.

Why do people throw out trash along the roadways? I keep my trash in my truck and throw it away at home in a trash can.
I drove on a state highway outside of Greensburg a few weeks ago and the trash on the side of the road was fricking ridiculous. There have been studies done and it showed the more the uneducated areas in the country have the trashiest roads.

Prob less so than other areas but I’d be surprised some poor people in those states haven’t dumped tires or old mattresses or any old shite on the side of the road.
That’s what poor people do.
