Louisiana COVID-19 - May 24, 2020 Update: 37,169 cases - 2,567 deaths - 316,036 tested

Per LDH Website
LDH provides one daily update each day at 12PM CT.
From LDH: "Due to server issues, the most recent update is not inclusive of total commercial lab data. The State Lab data have not been impacted. Once resolved, LDH will update at the next noon update."

Why odd?
Hospitalizations and vents have continued to go down.
In last 3 weeks, both hospitalizations and vents have been cut in half. Makes sense to me.

The 3 day numbers. They had been going down and hit a spike yesterday. Now down again.
All of this looks good to me. Phase II is in view.

Over 76% of deaths in Louisiana since May 1st have been nursing home deaths.
That is incredible and should massively alter the state’s plan to mitigate the virus in the future

Are they saving everything for the most ridiculous Tuesday bump of all time? So they can blame it on Memorial Day weekend? Only 3,000 tests in the last 2 days.

If that’s accurate, and I trust it is, it’s really a game changer as far as how we see this virus now. Any reasonable minded American should support stuff being basically fully open at this point.
