loving the -.3 positivity rate. Does that mean that .3% of people tested positive for ANTI-rona???

My line of thinking is there is no way for my bodily fluids to get on someone if I’m social distancing
I do not speak to others in stores, the cashier has the plexiglass up
I try not to pass in front of people but if I do I say excuse me before I pass & turn my face from them as I do
I am far from a Dr. but I think distancing is better than masks

Take this with a grain of salt, but my contact inside OPH says we are heading backwards toward April figures. I gather this is in advance of reporting.

Meaning over 1000 hospitalizations?

Nothing specific yet, but we’re trending badly apparently. I know this is useless and generic, I’ll try to get more info.

I mean the Governors press conference yesterday laid out it all out pretty well, don't need any inside info to see what is happening. Lake Charles/Lafayette are trending very poorly, the rest of the state is either flat or trending down.

What math are they using? Common Core?

Amos how's your place doing? I’m set up with telemedicine but I told them if they need me to use it and if I really need them I’ll use it — otherwise we’re gonna keep texting — they’ve got enough work to do.

But hospitalizations are down overall — I’d love some specifics Lafayette/region 4 numbers.

I’m told most of the long term care facilities that tested 100% negative nearly all have positives which have been contact traced back to bars opening.

Foot and JML y’all are making me feel better. I really don’t want to be an arse — it’s not in my nature.

However, you can't be talking about a second spike and shutting shite back down and in the same breath say you have duplicate cases and no idea if the data is correct.
You trying to bully Toya? Because she will NOT be bullied!

So ltc employees go to bars lol. No really I get it. Vermilion Parish had zero cases in facilities and now two fornsure as of this past Monday have cases — didn’t look at employee column but I know there are positive residents.

When you never really had a first wave you can only trend up
Same thing as FL, TX and CA

Sounds very political

Third party providers, etc. I think what we’re seeing is a selfishly entitled demographic being careless. I get people are tired of everything, but damn.

My contact is a relative. No politics in play for this convo.
