If you add

56
34
0
89

And divide by 4

What’s the answer?

Frick these people

So they suddenly stop reporting on Saturdays to drop the biggest number yet on Sunday then proceed to dump 1,500 two month old tests on the following day

Maybe that’s a coincidence but it sure seems sketchy. How many people are going to dig into that, or just report 3,000+ new tests.

Why is it so hard to just be honest with us?

Did you see the bullshite a few days ago with some dude from Harvard saying that accurately reporting the data (dating properly to day of test/death) is massaging the data/inaccurate?

oh... I got a solution that might help

take out Saturday's 0... and then just divide by 6 and see what you get

ETA: I already know the answer to this question

I know his schtick and I got sucked into it. Rather than have a discussion he would rather name call every post but that's typical. I should have just ignored it.

The problem is he is assuming that they "made up" for one day's N/A by dumping the next day. We all know that isn't true with how the LDH has handled backlog.

Current 7 day rolling average is 28 hospitalizations per day

Previous 7 day rolling average was 49 hospitalizations per day

That is almost a 50% reduction. But thats the problem with all this. The general public, and most politicians really, have no clue how to actually interpret data

Hopefully you realize that it is a reduction in the rate of increaseand not a reduction of the number of people in the hospital. Looks like the number of people in the hospital is the highest it's been since the first week of May.

There wouldn't be anything to get sucked in to if you had a better grasp of statistics.

Here we go again. I've taken many high level stats classes and have repeated myself over and over. Instead of resorting to questioning my understanding just read and discuss.
