We deal with outbreaks every year. Norovirus, flu, c. diff, et al. Covid-19 is unlike anything we’ve ever had to deal with.

the August 7 official number... which is the most recent given... was 10.33%, which continued a steady decline.
I imagine the next time the LDH updates that chart... we'll fall below the magical 10% mark

Although speaking of you working with elderly individuals, in comparing this pandemic to the two other most well knowns: swine and Spanish, this one attacks the elderly the worst while the other two burned through the young
So, it is really odd to me out most extreme response by a mile is to the pandemic that burdened the elderly and those at the end of life, and not the two pandemic as that attacked the young
Seems strange. Is it a result of social media, or something else?

Another day well below 10% and another day the state doesn’t update their percent positive chart since August 7th. This is over. We’ve reached a level of immunity like Orleans Parish has. Hospitalizations will continue to plummet.
