Encouraging, but tomorrow will tell the story if it was just weekend reporting or if it’s actually good news.

Those are good numbers for today! Hope that trend continues.

Edit: Last Sunday looked good too.

Looking at that table, it seems like Sunday's have typically shown the lowest rate of growth and then things pick back up on Monday.

When will the numbers be coming in from the day with 6500+ tests?

Numbers look a lot better today. I’m hopeful but skeptical about a decrease in cases and deaths in a 24 hour span. Hopefully this trend continues and the numbers start flattening out

Last Sunday was a really low outlier, too. I hope this isn't a trend that gets people's hopes up.

My friend’s mom died of COVID today. :( 63 years old. No lung, cardiac, diabetes, or obesity, but she did have severe dementia. Still sad to see.

Most people involved in this need a slight break....and Sundays are usually that day in healthcare. Not abandoning the patients, just not as detailed with documentation, reporting etc.

Well that seems like lazy reporting and JBE is gonna address the state with maybe-not-so-accurate numbers?

I wish Alabama would report in this format. Pretty informative.
