It's very possible that the stay-at-home order for Louisiana will be extended past April 13 as the number of known coronavirus cases and deaths continue to increase.

In a joint press conference between Governor John Bel Edwards and New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell, Edwards said the current order "may well have to be extended." "As you know, my stay at home order is scheduled to end on April 13th," Edwards said. "I do want people to know that based on facts on the ground as we get close to that date we will determine whether to extend that date. Right now, I can tell you it may well have to be extended beyond April 13th."

Trump just extended the National guidelines to April 30.

No child care and no school and no social events for another month?

Violence is going to be on the rise big time soon.

Well, it makes sense if hospitals are overwhelmed and people are still getting sick. Hopefully louisiana can turn a corner with all this fast.

No one is staying home now. Prop stop must be essential. JBE is proving his impotence

yeah, half the board believed the virus is a hoax, and it’s the governors fault for not arresting people.

Build a wall around New Orleans and let the rest of us go back to our lives.

They made their own bed with trash fest known as Mardi Gras and think they are above everybody else in Louisiana so let em sort their own shite out.

That’s my advice.

A great depression is going to be way worse for this country.

You have to weigh the options.

But locking everyone in their homes for 2 months is going to wreck as many if not more lives than this virus

Well, we actually are. NOLA is far and away the most important metro area in the entire state

I think once everything gets to a manageable situation, the 2020s will be the new roaring 20s. Like like after the spanish flu.

And when the month of April is about to come to an end, Uhh oh we have to stay in another 60 days.

Never ending.

I really hope you’re correct but I very seriously doubt it.

The middle and lower classes are going to be crushed by the time May rolls around

Do you have any idea how many patients from outside parishes New Orleans and Jefferson Parish hospitals are caring for?

Go ahead and build your wall let your trashy great aunt in that nursing home die because you can’t get her to Oschner or UMC, or Tulane to the ventilator she needs to survive.
