It’s honestly just wishful thinking for me. I have always been a fan of disruptive chaos. I find the day to day tedium of life almost intolerable at times.

How edgy

Actually their neighbors are hurting them more by not just staying home like what’s being asked of our leaders. They are not wanting Marshall law, they are just asking you to help battle this war against our citizens. Help the healthcare workers, stay home for frick sake.

for 3-4 months?

again, the "hoax" often referenced is the portrayal of this whole situation

Trump is lying about it. JBE is lying about it.

they knew the policy would take months of economic slowdown (possibly shut down) and keep dangling a carrot of "2 weeks" in front of us

just like how the media over-hyped the wrong parts of this thing, which caused another "hoax" reaction

Mark my words when Trump says to go back to work all of these democratic governors will be pushing back like mules.

Sometimes mules you can't work with need to be sent to the glue factory.

3-4 months is a hoax driven by paranoids like yourself. Do 3-4 weeks of what’s being requested & I assure you that the “curve” would start to shift in 2 weeks. Buy hey, you do you & this shite will linger for 3-4 months. My job is secure with paid sick leave no matter what the economy does so it don’t matter to me how fricking long this goes on. However, for my fellow Americans that need their jobs to open back up and get back to business as usual I wish people would just stay home. No Marshall law, just a request, get out as needed not bc you gotta take the Range Rover for a spin with soccer mom Suzy.

Did you think any of that would sound cool?

Yes, it's not great that this is still happening, but these people make up a tiny percent of the people who would normally be going to festivals, bars, restaurants, and malls.
If this social distancing stuff is working, it will work itself out. A few hundred people having backyard gatherings isn't going to change that.

Yet NOLA is a “hot spot”. Ok but you are still increasing the odds of transmission 10 times over from someone who is potentially asymptomatic. New Orleans does not have the the healthcare care facilities nor the health care system that New York has yet the numbers are growing by a thousand new cases a day. You baws that are so called prepared are really showing how easily you can really be picked off by an unknown enemy simply bc you can’t help but to keep up with the Jones’.

Oh god damn you really are slow.
In your own words, just why do you think the President of the United States is asking you to social distance & only get out as needed?
Do you really think thus is a power grab?
Do you really think he is trying to ruin his presidency with hopes of getting re-elected?
Do you really think he is trying to collapse our economy?

he's basing his policy in a potentially flawed study

and even after all of the time spent explaining the process, people like you don't understand it's going to require a LONG time go implement

and that, is a failure of the media and politicians lying to us. we're frogs in a pot of water with an increasing temperature

I haven't been more disgusted by a poster in quite some time.

Thanks.
