Yep. Sheep with no common sense

I will probably grill tomorrow night too. I am thinking Korean short ribs.

Why is this so hard for some of y’all to grasp. The desire to demonstrate “MUH FREEDOM” makes people lose all aspects of common sense.
Kinda how the desire of the government to flex their power any chance they get makes them lose all aspects of common sense? frick off

50 downvotes show why majority of people have no common sense & Louisiana has a Democratic governor hurting the state.

You realize the downvotes are for the ban and not for you right?

Who the hell causes small, normally harmless errant fires in the surrounding environment when they grill?
It’s happened to me a couple times in my 40 or so years of grilling/being around people grilling. A charcoal sneaks out when transferring from starter to grill and catches some dried grass on fire. One time I was grilling with a buddy and the catch at the bottom of the grill that catches ash wasn’t attached securely or was missing a grate or something. I was drinking. But I remember it came lose and spilled some coal embers out. I don’t use lighter fluid but maybe that could lead to some unexpected issues?
Again, these were all harmless and put out quickly. But things can happen sometimes. And conditions being what they are, extra precautions shouldn’t really be an issue.
Louisiana has over 4 million people? If .05% grill today that’s 20k people grilling. If just one of those has a little accident, it could be dangerous.

Sounds like you are an idiot and should probably stick to the microwave.

Oh I’ve for sure done some stupid things in my life and maybe didn’t pay attention to something.
Sometimes when bans or public notices are put in place, the side effect of just making people more aware of what is going on is more important than the actual “ban” itself.
Some people who grill a lot may have a few drinks while doing so and not really worry too much about making sure the fire goes out completely before bed in normal conditions. If they are aware of the ban, and still grill, maybe they are a little extra cautious tonight before going to bed to make sure the fire goes out or put a little water on it or something. It’s just one extra precaution to make sure something accidentally doesn’t catch fire.
I rarely make sure my Weber is all the way died out before I go to bed because I’ve never had any issues with it before. But before I went to bed last night, I dumped some water in it just to be safe. I’ve got some dry arse trees in the yard that could easily light up from some errant sparks. And I swept up the dried leaves in the yard before I started up the grill - something I rarely do in normal conditions. I still grilled.
Some of y’all are acting like chidren who had their toys taken away. Go grill.
But to act like conditions aren’t a little more ripe to have a fire spread is just ignorant.

Next thing you know, they'll be telling you that you can't drink and drive, and that you have to follow the speed limit.
What a communist country we live in.

I have grilled at minimum weekly for my entire life since I turned 20. I have grilled charcoal, gas, pellet smoker, wood, Cajun microwave, etc…
I have never, and I mean never, created a fire that was not contained within the BBQ pit or grill. I’m not saying I’ve never had inadvertent fires of flare ups, but I’ve seriously never had nor seen a fire anywhere other than inside the grill.

Nobody has said that. At all. I’m simply exposing the complete government overreach with a “grilling ban” and after our state’s and local government’s response to covid I’m not giving them a shred of benefit of doubt any longer.

I’m mostly agreeing with you. Like I said it’s happened to me or with others maybe 2-3 in my life. But there are people who are less attentive than many here. If this ban leads to them still grilling but maybe being more cautious, that’s fine.

Agree. Like I said, I grilled this weekend.

Everyone's goal in our society is to be a victim. "My rights are being violated!"
Look, dude, no one is going to arrest you. You don't need to go fire up your grill on the steps of the state capitol in protest. It's like a speed limit on the highway. You can go over it and not risk jail time, but the point of it is to remind you to be careful.

It’s evident based on his responses here. Whenever someone makes a point he just responds with 1-2 word statements and the middle finger lol

I thought I’ve been pretty conversational on here, and I’m pretty sure I’ve not posted the middle finger gif once.
