Peopen that throw cigarette butts out should go to jail just for being trash.
Also people/state need to do more control burns. These forests are supposed to have fire - we wouldn’t need a state of emergency if there wasn’t decades of fuel built up in them.

At least now exponentially fewer people do it. 20 years ago the city streets were almost secondary to the mass of butts and trash on it.

Cant agree more. Cant stand people who do that. At least now exponentially fewer people do it. 20 years ago the city streets were almost secondary to the mass of butts and trash on it.
Now they just throw a malfunctioning e cigarette device or cartridge with a lithium battery and menthol to poison the environment.

Common sense should tell people to not light any type of fire outside when everything around you is so dry that it’s crunchy and crispy.
