The AG is grandstanding, plus maybe it's a move to squeeze money out of the waste company. The chance that it's really health-related is basically zero.

Yep. I'm pretty sure most industrial incinerators burn between 1,400 and 1,800 degrees. If it can survive that, we have much bigger issues than where the trash gets dumped.

Sheetrock, carpet, and insulation doesn't really burn to nothing like wood. There's also appliances, toilets, fixtures, etc
6 truckloads does sound like a lot though especially if they are 14 yd dump trucks.
