No shite genius. Even coonasses can figure that out. I was just fighting back. Sue me. Nurse is OK for real.

I still tell the story about my experience at a grocery store in Vancouver Canada. I had on an LSU hoodie while buying a coke. A guy stopped me and said "Are you from Louisiana?". I replied "Yes, have you ever been?". He replied "Yes, it was years ago. Don't you guys have a good football team, that mosquitos virus & a serial killer?"
His Mich classmates asked him -- seriously -- if he'd have to take a boat through the swamps to get to school

Why? Education sucks in this whole country not just Louisiana.
This. The average US school curriculum is extremely poorly planned.

I'd live in a swamp for the rest of my life as long as the thermometer doesn't pass 100 degrees.
You can keep that shite

Thanks! Why don't we just agree to disagree on this subject

Well yea, the scenery in the west is incredible.
If Louisiana had scenery like Montana/Colorado/Utah etc I'd love it here. Summers are brutal. If I could just live out west from let's say spring through summer then louisiana for fall/winter that'd be ideal.

Arizona is awesome. Grand Canyon, Lake Powell are enough of a reason to go.
You have Zion and other great Utah parks close as well. Vegas is close if you're into that too.

They matter if you are a nurse. Nurses from other parts of the U.S. don't move to LA for the amazing job opportunities. Nurses are paid dogshit in LA and the rest of the south compared to other parts of the country.
What's the starting salary for a nurse in AZ right now?

I think starting is maybe $27-30/hr for new grads?
That's just base rate though....gotta factor shift diffs if they work nights/weekends.

What's that work out to per year? My fiancé is graduating nursing school soon and from the looks of it, starting salary will be around 55-60K.
Eta: I worked the numbers and it looks like that works out to about 56k assuming a 40hr work week. That seems right on par with LA.
