go to autozone, take another one off in the parking lot, go in, use the gauges by the lugs to find the size and thread pitch that you have. Buy the one that is the closest to what you have.

The weirdest things happen to cars. I just noticed the clear plastic piece covering my license plate is partially broken off. I don't recall backing into anything. Much less with enough force to break an 1/8 " of hard plastic.

I know. Unless you are rotating/changing tires in gravel/rocks. They are pretty hard to misplace.

According to Crash.net on Feb. 28, the lug nut rule is one of two new tire rules that the NASCAR officials changed and both are seen as dangerous rules to let fall by the wayside. The Crew Chief for a NASCAR driver can let the car go out of a pit stop with just three lug nuts secured instead of the five.

This feasibly means that any given time cars can be flying around the track on tires missing two lug nuts. The reason for becoming lax on this rule is time, as the few seconds saved by leaving two lug nuts off a tire can make a difference in the position on the track for the car.
