I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband to cancer last January, a couple of months after our 40th anniversary. I read somewhere to “just do the next thing”, and that’s what I did during those first weeks and months. My heart is broken but I’m so grateful he chose me to spend his life with.

I'm sorry for your loss man. I lost my pops 4 days ago to apparent brain cancer. He was given 8-12 months two weeks ago, then all of a sudden he could barely walk. I spent 3 of the last 5 days trying to calm him, he was restrained in the hospital bed like a rabid dog. Everything happened before they could do another MRI. He did spend his last two days in a super nice hospice facility that kept him comfortable and was in a place my kids and family could see him.
Those 3 days were the worst of my life before that. His eyes were almost bulging out of his head, meds didn't touch him. Life happens fast.
