Best response I’ve seen so far. That was the go to move for my parents and I often used it with my own. Maybe not the “shut the frick up part” but same logic.

If I was their parents, you would’ve caught hell from me. I understand where you’re coming from, but those kids aren’t yours and you have 0 right to be a dick. Especially since they were so young. Yes the parents should’ve handled it, but if it bothers you that much, just finish your drink and go somewhere else...

bullshite. Stay the frick at home if you can’t control your unruly kids. I’ve got zero respect for parents that don’t control their kids.

I yelled at a kid a couple weekends ago for excessive splashing and general ignorance. It wasn’t me who he splashed with his kicks. It was some random woman who I could tell was agitated but didn’t want to say anything. His father wasn’t happy but the woman appreciated it. Told that little shite to go play on the other end, and to be careful who he was splashing.

That’s the problem with kids these days. There is no legitimate threat of an olde fashion arse whooping. Or at the very least a spanking.

Once upon a time I would have said you’re a douchebag, but as I’ve grown older, I’m tired of seeing the next generation letting their kids run wild. It’s good to give the little shits a dose of the real world.

Yell at my kid and I'll punch you in the mouth. They're kids.

Control your spawn neck beard. Undisciplined kids grow up to be shite head losers.

And that’s who this falls on, not the child. Politely ask the parents to intervene or leave.

I don’t get this “leave” line of thinking. If anybody leaves it should be management forcing the shitty parents and the unruly kids to leave.

I know plenty of kids that had super strict parents and were very disciplined and they still grew up to be shite head losers.

I’ll take the odds of the well behaved kid succeeding over the asshat everyday.

Also a lot of families have multiple children, treat them all the same, and one turns out bad

Don't feel terrible.

The parents should feel terrible about someone else having to do their parenting.

Good for you OP.

Anytime

I did however raise a polite and very well mannered kid so I have that going for me.

You did fine. If they were my kids I'd have been embarrassed that I had let them be a pain in someone's arse.
