His unique insight to the building and permitting process paired with his entertainment platform has been intriguing to listen to.

Politics in general.

He used to be the cool interesting conspiracy theory guy who would talk about aliens or Atlantis or the pyramids, shite like that.

Now he interviews politicians and politically motivated people without offering much if any opposition. It's a pretty stark contrast from the guy who used to question everything.

Good for him but I don't think he can win. Too many people are gonna remember him turning Heidi against LC on The Hills.

So you're judging this guy based on an MTV reality show that aired 20+ years ago when Pratt was in his early 20s? Thank God you're not being judged today based on your past.

FYI - the incumbent Mayor is a buffoon who altered in her favor a critical after-action report on the devastating Southern California wildfires that killed 31 people.

That's a cop out / non-answer. Just give me an actual example of Rogan shilling for a politician. Not just a name, but show me actual evidence of this.

That was never all that he talked about. But yes, him being attacked constantly during covid changed some of his interests, and that's what he talks about.

He's never been an adversarial interviewer and has always let his guests talk.

Progressives and their positions generally fall apart when you ask for specifics. They would rather stick with broad strokes generalizations and names/terms the media force fed them.

Well yeah. That’s how our dumbass society works. People only remember what they want to, don’t think for themselves, etc

It should be noted that 12 of the total deaths were from her area/the Palisades. The other 19 were from the Eaton Fire in Pasadena/Altadena, whose mayor most people can't name.

Insinuated Theo Vonn was going mental when he questioned the U.S.'s involvement with Israel.

Refused to ask Peter Thiel about his presence in the Epstein files.

Just to name a couple.

The ole classic "I disagree with this person so they must be an insane liberal." Y'all are just as bad as the purple haired white women with septum piercings.

This dude is the literal definition of a cheese dick. However, the future of Los Angeles, at least for the foreseeable future, needs this dude.

So, Rogan is shilling for what here? Israel? That's your position?

quote:

Rogan is shilling for Epstein now because he didn't question enough based on limited evidence available about Thiel's connection with Epstein at the time? Thiel brought up his connection to Epstein without even asking. What would be the point in Rogan saying "well you were shown in the Epstein files to have have met with Epstein"? That was already established at that point in the interview by Thiel himself.

It sounds like you just don't like his positions on some things and wish he would have called out a guest on things based on hindsight. That's not "shilling."

Imagine it's the 2000's and someone from the future came back and told you Spencer Pratt would be a voice of reason in LA in 2026. I was impressed watching the first half hour.

Shilling for certain people in the federal government who are shilling for Israel.

He's become just another cog in the mainstream media political machine.

Ohhhhh..."certain people." He's "shilling for the shillers".

Jesus man. Go re-read what you just posted.

I'd ask you "Who?" again but it'll just be more circular logic that leads nowhere. People who don't support 100% of whatever extreme ideology / cult that you ascribe to aren't shills.

The president. Use some fricking context clues.

I remember when he was on a jungle game show for washed up celebrities and he had a cathartic experience in the show that he needed to convert to Christianity and had Lou Diamond Phillips who in no manner is an ordained clergy member baptize him in a river
