Really surprised they haven’t arrested the cop yet.

When do we riot and pillage and burn over the fact blacks kill WAY more whites and nothing is done about it? All focus goes on the significantly smaller amount of white on black murder.

You know, stop pretending there’s no way they can change things themselves in the most free, most diverse, most educated, most class mobile, richest country in human history.

Well now that’s just the white supremacist Nazi klansman in you talking. Surely you know the only thing that can help black people is voting democrat. Hell, are they really even black if they don’t?

No, your suggested policies obviously assume that they are capable of making their own good choices and improving their lot in life. Like those goddamn cornball uncle toms.

No, I’m afraid the only choice blacks in America have is to keep voting democrat and sucking on the gov’t titty. Otherwise they’d have to start making responsible choices, and that would make them white, obviously. And let me tell you, white people are the absolute worst thing there is.

Not the point. This outrage is fabricated. "Systematic racism" is a myth.

You'll always have collectivists and racists, but more often than not the racial angle is exploited.

again...name a decade in which this hasn't occurred

because I can name race riots that fit this description in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s

I don’t think that is a fair comparison. The rioting isn’t so much that it is a normal white person killing a black persons. It is a white person in a position of power killing black people.

Granted, the Asian cop in the incident was power tripping hard. He wouldn’t even look back to see the guy dying. I’m assuming protocol may be to not turn your back to a hostile crowd which may have been what happened? But I would think you’d at least take a look and assess the situation happening behind you too.

You're so far off the point here, seems like you're in a rip tide.

There is a valid distinction between regular murder and murder that involves governmental corruption or overreach. The cops here, the investigation/lack of prosecution in Brunswick.

But on an emotional, human level, it's really hard to get worked up over some of these injustices when a 15 year old black kid murdered a white dad in Buckhead a few weeks ago and nobody gives a shite. "How tragic."

Per the pyramid of white supremacy, it's wrong to try him as an adult.

No. I'm still on point. You are trying to change it because you know you are wrong.

You said we were "absolutely" to the point where we were ending public racism problems.

I'm asking when, exactly, were we there and when did it end.

Nah. Citizen, cop, opportunists do opportunistic things.

The rioting and looting is simply opportunity.

Shocking

Why didn't they just go burn down the LEO station? Food Club nor Autozone had nothing to do with this guy dying.

These lazy frickers used this guy's death just as an excuse to go steal from these businesses and get "whats owed to them". Lazy POS frickers.

Community activists will likely be complaining about the resulting food desert now that the Cub Foods is gone

"Cub Foods disgracefully decided not to rebuild in our community"

Even if they wanted to make an attempt, they couldn’t. It was heavily guarded. Police saw it was a lost cause to save the building as protestors were throwing rocks at the firefighters, so they kind of doubled down outside of their building.

I was up till 5 AM watching streams. Tired AF now

Honestly, can’t see how anything decides to open in that area for a while. I’m interested to see how insurance policies change in that area after this is all said and done.

Apparently everyone took that the wrong way.

It wasn’t meant to be absolutely literal, but you have to acknowledge the problems of the privilege movement. Look at the conversations happening in the media, on the news, and in many classrooms across the country about the constant need to recognized your privilege and outwardly name everything that divides us rather than celebrate what makes us equal and together.

We are.

Ths isn't a racial problem, it's a fabricated racial problem. When demand exceeds supply, you have to create a need.

We are on a continuum, it never ends but we've absolutely crushed the systematic inequalities.

Bad cops kill people, white and black. Agitators ignore the majority of deaths at the hands of cops. This riot is opportunity, nothing else.

This Is what I said "absolutely" to..

quote:

It's amazing to me this country was doing so well and getting close to ending public problems with racism and sexism and instead of celebrating the progress we've made and the freedom we enjoy some diabolical genius invented the "privilege" and "my truth" movement that literally makes race and sex relations impossible.

"Getting close" =|= eradicated.

True.

I’ll ask Salmon the same I asked another poster:
