Agree. I have family from Breckinridge, Co that came down to BR and late February/ early match and they were miserably cold. They had to experience it to understand it.

Side note: with temps like this coming, we'll probably get the Sterling shooting results this week too.

Good it's December.

81 degrees last year on Christmas Day.
Sucked so bad.
Had all my family though. Thankful for that.

No snow yet at our altitude. Temps in 30's at night for a while. Snow next week one night. Rain this week.

Getting in a delivery of oak wood today. The kale and carrots look great.
Bring it on. Forecast is for actual winter to start here new year.

didn't think -10 felt much different than 20 degrees, tbh. At a certain point cold is cold.

Cold is cold, at 20 degrees you think about how can I warm up, shite it's cold!
At -17 and a brisk wind, its I'm freaking dying I need heat now!

My favorite time of year is when the bridge freezes and we get to watch the state trooper try to drive up to test it out.

You obviously don't know much about our weather patterns and snowfall here. This isn't a coastal area getting large and frequent snowstorms. Our coldest month on average is December and the average low is 22. It isn't normal to be at sub-zero temperatures with a foot or two of snow coming to the front range

It feels much more miserable in the south. Could be mental though since it's fairly rare.

I keep my windows open and it's in the mid 20s during the day right now... I couldn't do that in the South.

I'm on the Northwest side of Houston less than an hour from College Station and I am not seeing any freezing temps that low in the forecast.

Idk what it is.

But being next to the Ohio river during a blizzard was pretty cold. Two years ago when it was 16 and I was in a deer stand, I could have just shut it down. I was shivering and my skin was purple.
