Looks like a hard freeze is coming this week

First big cold spell of the season looks to be coming in on Thursday.
28 degree low here in CS.
Weather channel app is showing 28 in Baton Rouge and 23 in Shreveport. Also showers 60% or so on Wednesday. Could make for some icy spots.

We're going to get down to 17 in Oxford. I'm from Lafayette so that's fricking once every ten years or so cold.

I didn't think -10 felt much different than 20 degrees, tbh. At a certain point cold is cold.

You can take "hard freeze" out of the title and just put cold air. It's not a hard freeze.

Yeah, the wind is easily the worst part. There's just way to stop wind from cutting through all your layers on a horribly cold day.
