15 tonight, toward zero later this week. Snow yesterday.

Wind blowing snow from the mountains is a bit chilly though. Beautiful day

I live in Nebraska, we get the extreme heat with high humidity, tornadoes, severe weather, hail, blizzards, extreme cold, and all that fun stuff.

Only thing we dont get here is hurricanes. The Central Plains has the worst weather in America.

I thought a hard freeze was temps in the upper 20's or below for several hours.

Typically it's below freezing for like 2-3 hours or so. So I guess your title is correct. My bad.

if only the rain forecast for Wednesday held back a day until the temperature dips... we could get some snow

then again... I guess it won't be cold until after that rain (see: cold front)

I know those of you who see it on the regular are sick of snow... but I would like to see it a little more than once every 10-15 years

Friend of mine has been working in the north slope Alaska for the last month. He hasn't seen the sun and it's dipped to -34 at times. Couldn't pay me enough.

That's cute. Low of 28. Lol

I've had guides we met in Canada make the same comment right before a morning 4 wheeler and then boat ride to a blind in Louisiana.

Trust me, 28 feels cold when the humidity is Damn near fully saturated.

I'll put 15 in Louisiana against -15 at 10k feet, all day long.

Also showers 60% or so on Wednesday. Could make for some icy spots.

Are we about to have another winter snow storm that causes us to miss work again?

First big cold spell of the season looks to be coming in on Thursday. 28 degree low here in CS.

I'm confused, when is the hard freeze coming? Title to this thread does not have any matching details in the body.

I'm reshuffling my entire schedule this week so that I can get away and be in the woods Friday and Saturday mornings.

I agree, cold is cold

The wind is what makes a difference. It's like when my dad bitches when it's gonna be 101 instead of 98. Lol

It's going to be in the 60's all week here. Perfect weather. I may dip into the 40's Friday which should get the deer moving for this weekend.
