GAI was known for grading fakes but everything about your card looks legit to me. I'm guessing it grading authentic due to size. Looks like the top border might be short.

Or does it have paper loss on the back?

No paper loss on back. When I purchased the card I talked to Joe Orlando personally who was the big guy involved with PSA who told me they would Authenticate it for me. When i purchased it i told seller i wasnt buying until it was verified of its authenticity.

It's hard to tell without seeing the card in person... but that Jackson presents really well. Depending on condition of the back and overall measurements that could easily go for $10K or more at an auction house.

Bought from a private buyer. The reason to authenticate verses grading was because of the top being short. Was worried it may be reprinted or cut from a sheet.

It would absolutely, without a doubt, 100% fetch more $$$$ in a PSA holder.

You know depending on the rest of your collection you might only need to sell a portion to fund the car and then you'd still be able to keep some cards.

Yeah but look at the borders and corners on that one. It's damn near perfect except for being recolored in one area. That same card without recoloring is easily over $100K.

Condition plays a huge part in vintage cards.

I just don't want you to go the wrong direction and lose out on thousands of dollars. If you have a little time you could maximize your profit. I think I could run some ideas by you that would help you out if you're not in a huge hurry.

I agree. Was just posting it for reference.

If I understood the write up correctly I believe they said the card would actually grade higher if regraded. I'm fricked up and just skimmed so I might have misunderstood. It also mentioned a stray pencil line that is nearly unnoticeable as well.

But I was thinking the same thing as you regarding him only needing to sell a small part of his collection to get her a car unless he's getting her an Aston Martin or such.
