Why do people who are looking for a job put their last 15-20 jobs on their resumes?

Worked here from aug 3 - Sept 1
Worked here from nov 2 - Jan 5
Worked here from Jan 30 - March 7

And so on

Do they not realize that you jump around jobs too much and there is no way in hell I am going to hire someone like you?

Unless they were a contractor for years than I agree. I've gotten resumes from people with 8 years of experience with 7 different companies. I'm not wasting months training you unless you have a good explanation.

Lol imagine being in a position needing to hire low-level workers who jump from entry level job to entry level job. Get a decent HR software or HR rep who keeps those resumes from getting to you. The fact that you see shitty resumes says as much about your standing as it does about the people submitting the resumes.

Exactly! If they are not street smart to realize that then there is no way I’m even going to call their person to come on for an interview.

What’s funny about it, I have at least 20 applications that came in from indeed, etc like this

And no I’m not a shitty troll.. I just believe how stupid people are trying to get a well paying job

There is zero chance that you are in a position to hire personnel for anything other than a lemonade stand

Troll or not I agree with your sentiment. There are people who tend to last 9 months at their corporate job before making a lateral move and the cycle repeats. I would be wary of someone like that.

I lost the Wal Mart gig because my truck broke down for five weeks.

I was working in Breaux Bridge, which is 25 miles from my house.

Mine would be worked from June 2002-current. If I leave my current company it would have to be one hell of an offer. I would never hire a job hopper in their 20’s or 30’s but that changes once you get older and are dealing with high end compensated folks who are consulting Construcion or oil and gas. That also goes for folks who keep moving up in a company going from a regional manager to a VP, President, to CEO.
