As above call Alvin Ballard.

I've had zero issues with Garcia. They were the only ones that bid my jobs. They've been very fair. I sent plans to Alvin and never heard back.

Try joey nola... 225 445 3007... Just did my moms house earlier this week. Cheapest of 3 estimates. His crew cleaned up well after they were done.

Looking for someone licensed and bonded, not a couple of Mexicans on a Sunday.

In that case, go to construction sites, find the one that speaks English and have him give you an estimate. You buy the materials and pay them for labor. I saved 6k doing this.

This....all hand nailed...no split shingles! Excellent cleanup! I recommended them to other relatives and they were glad I did!

not to highjack this however I must ask why would you prefer hand nails over pneumatic nails (not staples)?

What about that roofing company from the Jerky Boys. Roofing, they got a couple of Mexicans up there with the mop, the bucket, and the hot shite.

I'm curious too. My last shingles were hand nailed in and caused an enormous amount of splintering in my pine board roof deck.

I wondered if the faster impact speed of a nail gun would have been less damaging?

A lot of the roofing companies contract with Central American labor crews. Some keep a few shop guys on staff that is it. The crews are independent and contract with the company or sometimes many companies. All they do is monitor the crew, check the job, collect the money, and warranty the labor.

JD Busby - that is his crew and mostly American. He did have a contract with lady that ran an American crew. She works onsite with that crew and they did good work.
Carl Spears- American crew
Sunrise roofing- they have American crew that is his people and contract Latino crews

Premier South is hands down one of the better ones in the area.

He hand nails all the shingles to the roof boards as nail guns jeopardize the integrity of the shingle due to high velocity. If you dont use premiere, ask whoever you go with whether they hand nail or use a nail gun

We do not have any dopeheads at Garcia!

If you were referring to Premier South, I can't speak to their people.
