if you're a wrestling fan of the mid 90's to now it's a must listen. I like his shows.
Listening to it right now. He gets some awesome interviews (Kevin Nash, Jim Ross, Mick Foley, etc.).
The episode where he just talks bullshite are good too.

Fighter and The Kid. Crude, vulgar, and funny.

Anything from Dan Carlin's Hardcore History series. The 5 part series on the Mongols was my favorite so far.

I'm a fan of the "You're not so smart" podcasts.

Well, if you're looking for a sports podcast, i'd say behind the bets and Thundering Herd

I will second hardcore history.
npr planet money is pretty interesting sometimes.
And for educating the idiots, quackcast might be beneficial...

I enjoy the Cracked podcast. They have a unique take on things and cover a wide variety of topics - funny and smart, too.

Eddie Trunk: The host of That Metal Show interviews metal and rock musicians like Tom Keifer from Cinderella and Michael Anthony from VH.
WTF with Marc Maron: Even his interviews with comics or musicians I don't care for often turn up interesting discussions.
Risk: True stories; some live, some recorded. Some are re kinky sex, gay, etc., so don't listen if you are a prude.
The Truth: They call the episodes "movies for your ears." The audio-skits are well acted and clever. Short too.

Several here have said it already but I highly recommend Radiolab.
Here's a link to one of my favorite episodes:
The Bad Show
99% Invisible is another good one, about how or why things are designed the way they are. They're typically very short, so I queue up a bunch of them and listen to them in batches.
Here's a good episode on the aesthetics of American currency.
The Colour of Money

Here's one I was shocked that I liked. Greg Proops.
It's about an hour and fifteen minutes usually & he usually does it in front of a crowd and he talks at a quick pace and is all over the place. It helps me do my busywork and reports as I tend to stay focused and work a little more briskly.
I like Bert Kreischer and Ari Shaffir's from time to time as well.
