We did a scavenger hunt when I was in undergrad. You had to find someone with more than 200 hours credit who had attained no degree in anything. (120 gets you a degree ordinarily).
Four teams found four different people.

If I could go back to school I would do the 8 year plan. I would take time to find resort jobs around the world for a few months at a time. I think being more well rounded as a person is better than 4 years of job experience.
I did something like that in my 16 year college career. Wrote a book a on how to land resort jobs at one point.

This thread is making me feel a lot better about how long it’s taking me to finish college. Glad I’m not the only one.

Family member took 6 years full time at LSU for Architecture. I think it’s a 5 year program and she didn’t get in the first try.

I won’t get into my specific years, but I started at LSU, flunked out, transferred to another school, flunked out again, and then went back to LSU. I did manage to graduate that time. When I walked into my first class back at LSU, a sophomore or jr level English class, even after 7 years, I knew almost everyone in the room from my first attempt at LSU. LSU was definitely a different place in the 80s

I finished in 3 could have easily finished in 2.5. I regret not doing 4 years, I guess I was in too much of a hurry.

I took six years. Changed majors three times. changed schools once. Needed money, so I took off for two Fall, and one spring, working construction jobs.
My big brother in the fraternity was in school for seven years, and never got a degree. His dad quit paying for him to go to school.
Had a young friend in Dallas that went to SMU for seven years. I don't know if he ever got a degree. He dated lots of fine girls, and partied a lot. He took classes, and played in a band, while waiting for his 25th birthday, and the trust fund money. He had to pass his classes to keep an allowance, the BMW, and the house he was living in.

After reading this thread I don’t feel as bad about the 8 calendar years it took me to get my bachelors.
