If the dust settle, planning a trip in late July - NOLA, Kerrville, TX, Grand Canyon, Salt Lake, Glacier Nat’l Park, Yellowstone, Tetons, Boulder, CO, Nashville, Charlotte, NOLA. About 6,500 mile, but looking at quite a few side trips off the main roads. This is the last long one in my journey.

Evangeline Parish to Massachusetts several times
Evangeline Parish to San Diego and back once..... ONCE! Driving through West Texas and most of New Mexico makes you want to eat a bullet.

Pensacola Florida to Kennebunkport Maine with my pregnant wife.
We stopped to camp in Shenandoah National Park on the way up. Saw a black bear with two cubs. 1,600 miles in a 2 door Mazda, did I mention a pregnant wife. Young dumb and broke.... good times!

Approximately 2,500 miles from Virginia Beach, VA to Santa Barbara, CA.

Literally drove from coast to to coast.

Made a 13 hour trip in a F250 with an 18' cargo trailer from Central, La to Dequincy, Il every 2 weeks for 8 months while I had a crew up there recabling a plant. 14ish hours, every other Sunday and Friday for 8 months SUCKED but I was much younger.
Drove from 5pm until 2am last year from Disney to the house in Prairieville with a 5 year old. Stopped one time to eat supper. That last hour through NOLA was rough.

Baton Rouge to outside Ottawa, Canada without stopping as a passenger in a Chevy S-10 . 1600 miles. I was 15 and my late brother was 18. He wouldn’t share driving duties. Crazy.

Bham to DC.
Or Bham to Harlingen, TX (just outside Brownsville). That Houston to Harlingen drive is fricking awful.

Rode with my parents from Bham to Homestead, FL when I was like 9 or 10. I was still small enough to stretch out in the back seat to sleep so it didn't seem so bad. But it was a long arse trip.
