In a reddit thread on that scam, someone posted a BTC that actually had a few thousand in it. They send out tens of thousands, only 1 has to work.

CAD got an email from some ESL claiming that he hacked his computer while CAD was watching porn and tried to blackmail CAD by alleging he had video of CAD beating off to said porn.
