After a quick google search, national 30 second ads this year ran $4.5-5 million and local ads ranged from $750k-1 million depending on the market.

If thats really the price for a local commercial, I dont see why Spencer Callahan would pay that kind of money when he already has commercials playing every other commercial break every day of the week.
