I really don't understand why he is apologizing. I do not know why anyone apologizes in situations like this.
It wasn't an accident. He meant what he said, so he should just own it. At best, he should apologize for saying something so stupid and move on. It will all die down shortly anyway.
The this isn't who we are and we have friends of color foolishness is just annoying. It is who you are, if it wasn't then you wouldn't say it, let alone type it out and post it...
Plenty of people all over our country of different races get annoyed all the time without sexiest and racist terms coming out of our mouths. Just own it and shut the hell up. I am tired of all the whining from all sides.
Speaking for myself as a black man, when my wife told me about this last night, my eyes and attention never left the television screen (Judge Judy, I fricking love Judge Judy). I don't care and I cannot even pretend to make myself care a little. As a matter of fact, if he has the best prices and the best work I would still use him.

Cassandra Brown You can't change IGNORANCE..... Apology or not I wouldn't accept it because he does not mean it. Until you have God in your heart you will continue to be an IGNORANT RACIST just like Donald Duck Trump. Just don't support his business. I don't much care what she has to say either. Part of the reason I do not have social media. People are free to post whatever they want and people are free to respond however they like.
It goes both ways. The problem is that people have forgotten that others have a right to their views as well, and before you hit me with that one side does, that is complete bullshite. How much crap did Obama get when he went in to office? How much crap did W. get when he went it to office? It goes both ways. This is what you get when people blindly follow party lines to the end.

Good thing he deleted his facebook account. I looked at it when I first saw this last night and there were plenty other incendiary comments that anybody could view. He seems like a very angry guy.

Maybe I am confused, because I am actually kind of defending the guy. I've done business with and worked with really shitty people before. I'm sure we all have. I have worked with really great people as well. In the middle is where the majority of us fall in. Just live and let live.
A vocal minority overreacts or reacts in a way you disagree with, so the opposite side overreacts to their overreaction. 1,000,000 Facebook post later, what has been accomplished?

I can't really defend this guy. I can only say that he should have chosen better words to express himself.
If people want to boycott him, that's their right.
But this serves as a cautionary tale for all of us. Social media is not your friend. When you post something... anything... on social media, do it as though you're expecting someone to come back on you for it some day. Because they will. People these days never miss an opportunity to burn you, publicly or privately.
Lastly, the guy was wrong, but I don't believe people are beyond redemption. He should take his lumps, but at some point, enough will be enough. Let the man apologize and, in time, make good on it.
